I was linked to this doc page by someone who thought it referred to the new Sync service (PiCL) but I'm guessing it refers to the current sync service. http://docs.services.mozilla.com/howtos/run-sync.html In documents like this we should clearly indicate at the top what version of the service and what versions of Firefox it applies to.
