From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.3) Gecko/20010801 BuildID: 2001080110 on the right side of the page, there is this 'dale coffing holding a pocketpc' animation. black background appear during the animation Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.just browse this website 2. 3. Actual Results: animated gif produce black background Expected Results: should be a simple animated gif
this is probably a dup of the "gif decoder doesn't support all frame replacment options" bug 22607. I don't quite know why the background appear like it does, but since it uses different replacment options its quite possible that we ignore the proper transparent background.
WFM, recent Linux CVS build. Over to ImageLib...

I can reproduce the problem (black background from time to time) too with build 2001090408 on Win2k whereas IE6 works fine with the animation.
WTM Linux 2001090781.
