Actual results: See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/985023#answer-530209 Expected results: User should stop receiving notifications after opting out.

All those checkbox are for future posts you participate in. Sounds like we need an "unsubscribe all" button that deletes all the user watches.

We could add that button, but most places just have the checkboxes and unchecking them unsubscribes you from email period. That's both, easy to understand, and matches user expectation. If we add that button, we'd probably also have to explain why unchecking the checkbox is not enough, or what exactly that action does.

Unless I'm missing something we should be good with just removing all subscriptions when the user unchecks the box next to an item. What else would we need?

I would much rather fix bug 663524. I am WONTFIXing this which is just bad UX because it isn't clear what's going on.
