+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #961927 +++

After bug 961927 is fixed, there is another bug found that if SIM 1 has data call connected first, then entering no service area, there will be a "O" icon overlaps on "1". Same as SIM 2. But if there is no data call established first, "O" will not be seen.

I don't think it's necessary to have this difference and there is no benefit doing so. But if anyone has concern, please ni? UX to judge that.

BuildID   20140204104742
Version   28.0

* Reproduce Steps
1. Enabled data call on either SIM 1 or SIM 2.
2. Enter no network area, watch the RSSI of both SIM.

* Expected Result
Both RSSI has "x" on the signal bar.

* Actual Result
The SIM has data call will also have "O" overlaps its SIM card number.

* Occurrence rate
100%
Enpei, the icon stands for the type of the current data call. "0" means that the current type is unknown, which is slightly different from no signal or not connected.

Edgar, is it possible that data.connected is true, data.type is null, but voice.connected is false?

If data.type and voice.connected are note related to each other, I would suggest to keep the "0" icon.

Understood. But it's on top of SIM number which is not pretty at all. So that's why I would say we need UX comment if needed.
Yap, at least we should fix the overlapping.

voice and data may have different status.
And data.connected is referencing to the data connection is existed or not.
In this case, it seems modem still reports data connection is existed, so data.connected is 'true'.
I check the unagi, it has same behavior.
Thank you.

Thanks for the explanation, Edgar.

Fang, following the same logic (as 4G, 3G... etc) it seems we should shrink the "0" icon and place it on top of the SIM number, right?

The current visual was not implemented based on the UI spec.

The "0" icon and the data type should remain the same size but the SIM number should be place on top of the signal bar.

Hi Arthur,
The "0" icon should be placed the same position as 4G,3G... Etc
No need to shrink the icon.
