Mater Password entry box does not have a text entry field to enter password when
mozilla starts, so there is no way to enter the password. This results in not
being able to use Mozilla. Killing the process and restarting helps. The
problem is sporadic, it happens about every second or third time.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Mozilla
Could be a problem with my imported netscape files.

Sorry but I don't understand the steps to reproduce that you gave. Could you
please be more explicit, state exactly what you did, what you saw, and what you
expected to see. And tell what "master password box" you are referring to.
Thanks.

I just start mozilla, period. Then I get a dialog box with the window
title "Prompt" and the Message: "Please enter the master password for the
security device." You get this prompt when you secure your passwords with a
master password under "Edit" -> "Preferences" -> "Privacy and Security" -
> "Master Passwords".
I do not get a text entry field to enter the master password and so Mozilla
hangs.
The error is sproadic (unfortunatly).
Cheers,
Duncan

I had this problem on 0.9.3.
Upgrading to 0.9.4 seems to have problem, I expect something got fixed in the
GUI code.
I notice that I tend to have the box appear twice. I have both mail and
browser start when I start Mozilla. If the mail component appears before the
browser window then I get the dialog twice. Shall I enter this as a new bug?
