Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20131206145143 Steps to reproduce: Tested on a keon with the 1.3.0.0-prerelease from geeksphone. Send a SMS when no network is available. The SMS is not sent, a ! red icon appears next to the message. Actual results: To try to send the message again, you have to press the icon, which doesn't look like a button at all. Expected results: The user should be able to retry to send the message by pressing anywhere on the message, this is far more intuitive.
I wanted this as well, but since we can have links in message, UX decided that it was not desirable. Instead, we have bug 933365, which will add this to the longpress menu. Would that be good enough for you?
I think this is a compromise. Or may be a simple "Try again" underlined (to understand easily that this is a link) just under the icon, I don't know.
Ok, let's do bug 933365 first, and we'll see if we need something else then :)
