Steps to reproduce:

On Earlybird 29.0a2.
Got a message, hit reply, try to select the first line (the one that goes like this "On dd/mm/yyyy, Some One wrote:") to erase it.


Actual results:

Impossible to select the line.
If I go on by trying to select a word in the middle of the line, the behaviour goes back to normal.

WFM on Windows 7 with 31.4.0 release build, both plain-text and HTML composition, replying above or below the quote. However, the original report was filed against Mac OSX, which I don't have.
