RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 636374

People

(Reporter: chaos, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686 on x86_64; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20131205075310

Steps to reproduce:

1. Visit http://error.commandpolice.biz/?id=019fc31fe8123c0668cc4fd0b96b797e
2. Try to close the tab
3. Get the "Are you sure?" "This page is asking you to confirm that you want to leave - data you have entered may not be saved." dialog box. Select "Leave Page"

Actual results:

Repeat step 3, forever

Expected results:

Tab closes. Painful and deadly electric shock is administered to the scam artist who created it. (I'm willing to have to install an add-on for the latter support)

A "Web Page, Complete" save from Firefox is attached, as I expect the original site to disappear eventually, as it's an obvious scam.

As per bug 636374, this should be no longer possible in Firefox 27 and later.
