On OS X, the dates of individual log entries in the log viewer are not displayed according to the system preferences. Instead, MM/DD/YY is used.

Looking at other mozilla code calling nsIScriptableDateFormat.FormatDateTime, it seems the locale pref is not used for this. This patch certainly resolves the issue on OSX.
