RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1008822

People

(Reporter: luke, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:10.0.5) Gecko/20120601 Firefox/10.0.5 (Nightly/Aurora)
Build ID: 20120601031547

Steps to reproduce:

I forwarded a message from an RSS feed.

Actual results:

The message was delivered, but the Compose window never closed, staying stuck on the "Copying message to Sent folder ...". I can cancel that panel and close/discard the message. The message was not copied to the Sent Items folder (unsurprisingly).

I can forward or write or reply-to other (non RSS-feed) messages, and they are all correctly sent and saved to the Sent Items folder. If I take an RSS-feed message that I forward to myself (after cancelling the compose window after sent, but cancelling the endless Copying... loop), and forward that, it also works fine.

I'm using TB 24.3 on RHEL6 talking to an exchange server via imap.

Expected results:

The RSS message that was delivered successfully, should have been successfully copied to Sent Items, just as all other messages are.
this is likely due to a default identity issue for feed messages (and would fail only if forwarding inline, not as attachment). there is a fix in bug 1008822.
