Details

Reproducible on:
Fx 28 beta 1 (BuildID: 20140205162153)
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:28.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/28.0
latest Aurora (BuildID: 20140209004002)
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:29.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/29.0
latest Nightly (BuildID: 20140209030203)
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:30.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/30.0

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open App Manager and connect to a device
2. On Device -> Installed Apps tab select to START several apps or open them using the device

Expected results:
DEBUG / STOP buttons appear after the apps are started

Actual results:
The apps are started in the device, but the corresponding buttons are not updated. START is displayed until the about:app-manager page is refreshed.

Notes:
1. Reproducible on Mac OSX 10.9 and Ubuntu 32-bit.
2. Tested with an unagi device with 1.3.0.0-prerelease version
3. The issue doesn't reproduce with 1.2 and 1.3 Simulators
4. The issue is not a regression, it reproduces back to 26.0a1
We solved a similar issues 10 days ago. Does the Unagi use the very latest version of B2G?

Retested with the following 1.3 and 1.4 versions. The issue is still reproducible.

Boot2Gecko 1.4.0.0-prerelease:
Gaia      e2f0e09e980b1cb3275a0bb033931cb48f9d521c
Gecko     http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/862cb6a1cc88
BuildID   20131218040201
Version   29.0a1

ro.build.date=Wed Dec 18 07:53:43 EST 2013

Boot2Gecko 1.3.0.0-prerelease:
Gaia      6f0e50db2d53a8e0dad9b56f71bb3b6e6487733b
Gecko     http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-aurora/rev/369bdbff6c38

Those device versions appear to be almost 2 months old. Can you try with a more up to date 1.3 or 1.4 build?
Flags: needinfo?(petruta.rasa)
Those were the latest builds I had for unagi devices.

On an inagi device with the below build from 30th Jan, the issue is not reproducible (I verified because Paul said in comment 1 the issue was fix about 10 days ago and this build was the first one released this year).
Gaia      9fb8dff0277eb9ffe88f6efeb4426ec21c01395b
Gecko     http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-b2g28_v1_3/rev/13c5c4a9103d
BuildID   20140130164002
Version   28.0a2
ro.build.version.incremental=eng.cltbld.20140130.201404
ro.build.date=Thu Jan 30 20:38:23 EST 2014

It also doesn't reproduce on inagi devices with 30.0a1 20140211160209 (1.4.0.0-prerelease) and 2014-02-11 (1.3.0.0-prerelease)
Flags: needinfo?(petruta.rasa)
So that means as soon as the unagi is updated, this will work. Closing.
