From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.3) Gecko/20010801 BuildID: 20010801 Only a small rectangular bevel gets rendered in about the middle of the screen, probably for an image. After this, the browser summarily crashes and dumps core. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.go to http://www.racingcorner.com 2.wait 3.watch mozilla crash and burn Actual Results: crashed. Expected Results: load page.
no crash with a current linux CVS build. The small rectangular bevel may be the start of rendering an area for java applet area there - at least that was the first i saw appear on page.
Steven, could you post the Talkback ID here? Thanks!

Summary: browser crashes upon loading the page → Crash upon loading the page
Hmm, it appears the bevel I was seeing /was/ a java applet, and that the browser crashes with all java applets. This didn't used to happen, so I'll assume for now this is solely a result of upgrading glibc from 2.1.3 to 2.2.4 (I've had other problems related to this). I'm changing this to invalid until I can reproduce with the known-good glibc.
