The default author on all of the main PR/communications blog posts at blog.mozilla.org are set to:
https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/author/chrismozillacom/
I assume that is an old account for Chris Beard. Shouldn't be change the default author to be something like "Mozilla"?
Should they be set to? https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/author/mozilla/
Let's ask the PR folks to better understand who chrismozillacom is. :)

This is attached to cbeard. if we can reset and tie to my email or press@mozilla.com that would be best. I also want to make sure I have admin rights on this blog to add/remove authors as a lot of clean up is needed

I think it would make sense to tie it to press@mozilla.com or at least an active employee like yourself.
Who is the one posting article with this author?
https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/author/mozilla/

Then currently posts under the cbeard account?
For example, this recent blog post uses Chris' account:

Can we switch this to press@mozilla.com today?

The "Mozilla" user is mozilla @ mozilla.com and Chris Beard is now posting under his own name (now that he's back in the fold). However, there are a lot of older posts that were attributed to "Mozilla" back when Chris' email address was behind that alias, and those are now attributed to Chris directly. We can transfer all those older posts to the new "Mozilla" entity instead of implying they were all written by Chris personally. Is that agreeable?
We don't currently have a blog account for press @ mozilla.com and would need to get that address into the LDAP system if it isn't already.

Hi Craig,
That's exactly what we want to do, as soon as possible this hour. Every Mozilla blog post should read as coming from Mozilla, unless it's from an individual author. Today's only should read - From Chris Beard, Interim CEO.
I looked at the wordpress forum Chris shared but I don't seem to have all the access I need to the admin site to make these changes so really need help,
Justin

Done. All posts previously attributed to Chris are now attributed to Mozilla (except Chris' CTO announcement from today).
Someone with access to the mozilla@mozilla.com address should use it to sign up at gravatar.com so that author can have a custom avatar.

Many thanks Craig!
I will file a WPR bug to get access to that address now.
