Create the possibility for the user to change the title of a tab once it is pinned. Specifically useful when some tabs have exactly the same identification or do not have a very meaningful title.

This feels more like add-on territory to me. You are using the VerticalTabs (or the like) add-on that shows titles for pinned tabs. We usually don't for the majority of our users so I think we would not take this into the core product.

(In reply to Tim Taubert [:ttaubert] from comment #1) > This feels more like add-on territory to me. Maybe. > You are using the VerticalTabs. Something similar. Tree Style Tab, but that's not the issue. :) Let me rephrase: Two pinned tabs can be visually identical and then confused. Imagine for example, the same favicon, but if you think it's too specific. I have no hard feelings if you are closing it. :)

Yeah, that's true. Multiple similar favicons have the same problem but that's also why we show a tooltip for those. Letting users choose a favicon for a tab is probably nothing the average user would do, despite not even me having favicons lying around :) I really think this should be an add-on, the use case is a little too exotic. But that's just my opinion, others should feel free to reopen if there's more support for that idea.
