6.1 RTM I sent a bug listing to the printer (bug 38521) and then when the print dialog went away I went to another bug and hit the print button again and sent the next job to the printer. When I went to the printer, the long printout from the first bug only got as far as page 2 of 15 before it quit. (The print job doesn't have to be extremely long, one of the printouts I asked for was only 4 pages long and it quit after the first page.) If this is "unfixable", then at least the print button (and related commands) should be disabled until it's ready for more work.
Note: Waiting for the printout to complete before sending the next job results in full printouts.
There is already logic in there so a new print job can not be started until the job preceding it is finished. Having said that I assumed there might be a bug with that logic.. and I tested what you described.. and I could not reproduce this. I did see other bugs.. like I could not get to the next page while the print job was being submited, it would switch me back to the preceeding document. This bug might happen from preceeding versions, this bug was fixed 3 or 4 weeks back.
