Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.3) Gecko/20010801 BuildID: 20010801 platform: Slackware Linux 8 i've been logging onto https://webmail.myrealbox.com for ages with no problem (it uses basic auth). I installed the JRE from ftp://ftp.netscape.com/pub/netscape6/english/6.01/unix/linux22/xpi java applets worked OK, but the browser crashed after i supplied name and password to the basic auth dialog. this generated a talkback bug which I submitted as steve.m@bigfoot.com, but at the time i didn't supply a lot of info on what happenned.. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install the JRE 2. enter name and password into a basic auth dialog 3. boom!
