Firefox for Android should restore tabs after force-quitting

Details
(FWIW, I thought this was already in Fennec)
It seems that Fennec will restore tabs from previous sessions, but only under certain conditions it seems. For instance, when I open Firefox on my Nexus 5, and then reboot my phone, when it comes back up, it will (usually) restore my tabs. If, however, I force-quit by clicking the recent applications virtual button and then swiping the Firefox mini-view to close it, when I reopen Firefox it doesn't restore my tabs.
Note that I'm using normal browsing mode, not private browsing.

Brian knows this behavior. Do we have it documented somewhere?

If the user manually kills Firefox, the default behavior is that we don't do a session restore. But you can change that behavior in prefs by going to Settings > Customize > Tabs, and selecting "Always restore".

Session restore documented at https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/SessionRestore#Killed_from_a_crash (may be slightly out of date).

Urgh, didn't mean to include anchor. Link here: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/SessionRestore. Sorry for bugspam.

New default setting since the last year or so is to always restore tabs.
