Steps to reproduce:

1) nightly update Aurora
2) restart Aurora 29 Aursralis (* not the Aurora 28 i'm making this post with)
3) Bookmarks Toolbar (persoanlbar) Appears Empty
4) type url in Navbar, No History (no suggestions made)


Actual results:

1) Bookmarks Toolbar (personalbar) appears Empty
2) History appears Empty, No suggestions as I type.

* rsync nightly backup of places.sqlite = 80MB
* Corrupt 'current' places.sqlite (after Aurora Corrupted Again) 75.6MB


Expected results:

Aurora should Not corrupt my Places.sqlite during update..... Again.

There's no way Australis may do anything to bookmarks.
There are 2 possibilities:
1. the bookmarks are fine but the UI is broken due to add-ons... Do you see bookmarks/history in the Library? Do you see them in safe mode (http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode)?
2. the bookmarks are corrupt, but there's no relation to Australis. May you please try to run a full check through this add-on and report back the results? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/places-maintenance/
