I'm unable to reproduce it on FTU neither on unagi, otoro nor flame, after landing bug 889623.

Can you please confirm that you were able to repro on FTU? (the 'Settings app' part is a little confusing).

I don't have a v2.2 flatfish around to test, but I'll try to get one.

I have seen once this situation in settings app only, and I can not reproduce it. I know this is not helpful, sorry.

I was by rebooting the device solves this problem at that time. perhaps this is a rare problem.

This bug is talking about FTE wifi UI design issue, nothing related to wifi AP name.
