Build ID: 1999071217 Platform: Mac OS 8.5 (only) To reproduce: Download and unstuff the mozilla-mac-m8.sea.bin file. A file is created in the mozilla-mac-m8 folder labeled 'Mozilla Preference'. Presumably, this should read 'Mozilla Preferences'.

This is not a libpref bug. Mozilla Preference is being named in mozilla\build\mac\NGLayoutBuildList.pm. Could you reassign the bug to a Mac build person. Thanks, Neeti

changed "Mozilla Preference" to "Mozilla Preferences" in mozilla/build/mac/ NGLayoutBuildList.pm fyi, this is NOT the file containing the preferences. it is just a "shortcut" to simulate the command line "mozilla -pref"
Fix was sitting on my local tree and just got checked-in. Sorry!

Verified fixed in September 7, 1999 build, Mac OS.
Moving all libPref component bugs to new Preferences: Backend component. libPref component will be deleted.
