From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.3+) Gecko/20010827 BuildID: 2001082703 The scrollbars in the URL and autocomplete dropdown boxes do not work properly when the thumb is dragged. Whenever the thumbs in these dropdown lists are dragged, the list immediately (on first pixel of movement) scrolls to the top and stays there, regardless of the direction of the drag. It can only be moved again with buttons or clicking the bar (see below). Clicking the scrollbar buttons (up and down) and clicking the scrollbar itself (around the thumb, up and down, to scroll by large increments) works correctly. Noticed this in Moz0.9.3, and picked up this nightly (2001082703) but it still shows the bug. Can't believe no one else would have noticed it, though. Is this peculiar to my setup? I'll try it in linux tonight. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. click the down arrow in the URL bar (or type the first few letters of a recently-visited site) so that the URL or autocomplete dropdown list appears. 2. drag thumb down (no response at all) 3. use down scroll button to move thumb to middle of scrollbar. 4. drag thumb up (even a little bit) -- (jumps to top of list) 5. repeat step 3 6. drag thumb down (even a little bit) -- (jumps to top of list) Actual Results: thumb always jumps to top of list on drag Expected Results: dragging thumb should scroll list in the direction of the drag and at the speed of the drag Scrolling works fine with the main browser scrollbar (the one that scrolls the content pane) and with scrollbars in HTML form elements. Only the two scrollbars noted above exhibit this behavior.
