When the device crashes and WSOD's (repro is to disable airplane mode), the device does not always charge after you plug the device into the USB charger.   The reason i know this is because the white LED on the front camera is not turned on.

The workaround is to pull battery, insert USB, wait for the screen logo to appear, and then insert battery.  At that point, you can see the white LED enabled, and indicating the charger.

Please discuss with Vendor why the battery isnt always charging after a WSOD crash.

Repro:
1) enable v105-5 base image and 1.4 nightly

2) disable airplane mode, let it crash to whitescreen (WSOD)
3) reinsert USB, and verify the battery is not charging (no white LED on front of screen)
4) To charge, need to do the workaround above

Expected:
- device always charging

Actual:
- device doesnt charge unless you pull battery and insert USB

As I know, the white screen issues are caused by the Modem crash, and when the Modem crash, the whole system is down, as a result all the low layer drivers will not work(includes charger IC which is used to control the charge behavior).

Let me double check with vendor and get back to you on that

Vendor issues don't block the release, so clearing the nom.

We have confirmed that the device can not be charged when modem crash.
In this case, this issue should be fixed after we get solution for modem crash issue from Qualcomm.

tested and verified on v107. v1.3 works well. （won't have WSOD）

I'm able to verify this also on v109 with the userdata.img from v107.  I'm not seeing the WSOD however.
