According to QA review of geolocation, it looks like the permission prompt is broken on 8.*. https://wiki.mozilla.org/QA/Desktop_Firefox/Geolocation/February_2014 STR: Go: http://mozqa.com/data/firefox/geolocation/position.html expected: You should see a door hanger requesting permission. actual: You do not see a door hanger permission prompt
Is this a dupe of bug 970112?
(In reply to Doug Turner (:dougt) from comment #0) > According to QA review of geolocation, it looks like the permission prompt > is broken on 8.*. What other platforms have they tested? According to bug 973854 this is also broken on Windows 7. Is this a recent regression as reported in bug 970112? Personally I can reproduce this bug in the official Firefox 27.0.1 build on Windows 8.1, as well as official and unofficial builds of Aurora and Beta on the same machine. However, I can *not* reproduce this in an unofficial mozilla-central build from last week...
