From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.3) Gecko/20010808 BuildID: 2001080814 When re-viewing a news post with an attached image that has previously been read / downloaded the image will be downloaded again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a post with an image attached. 2. Wait for the image to finish downloading and be displayed. 3. Open another post. 4. Go back and look at the previously opened post. Actual Results: I have to wait for the image to be downloaded again. Expected Results: The image should have been stored locally and be displayed imediately. When using netscape mail to do the same it functions correctly. (Red Hat 7.1 / Netscape v4.77)
Marking these all WORKSFORME sorry about lack of response but were very overloaded here. Only reopen the bug if you can reproduce with the following steps: 1) Download the latest nightly (or 0.9.6 which should be out RSN) 2) Create a new profile 3) test the bug again If it still occurs go ahead and reopen the bug. Again sorry about no response were quite overloaded here and understaffed.

I don't see this - once it's completely downloaded the 1st time, we keep it in the cache, and it's instant for me. and this is a large 373kb image. verified wfm, linux redhat 7.2 2002-02-20-08
