Steps:
Press <volume up> or <volume down> hardware keys

Actual results:
The volume up/down animation starts and continues regardless of other key presses or screen interactions performed.

The animation keeps going even when the screen is turned off/on with the power button and seems to drain the battery significantly.

Expected results:
The volume should go up/down just one step.
