As we know about the flaw with gInstance of CacheFileIOManager multi-thread access, I think it would be a good solution to just let the service (that is not released sooner then by xpcom shutdown since it's an xpcom service) reference the io manager. This will prevent any (regardless how unlikely) shutdown crash. Michal, what do you think?
