Steps to reproduce:

I'm trying to rename/reorder my bookmarks.


Actual results:

Sometimes when I make a exclusion it's lock the entire windows and I can't select others folders/bookmarks. 


Expected results:

Don't lock the screen. Exclusion must be fast.

how many bookmarks and which kind of reordering? may you please make some example steps?

Could you please try if in safe mode it's faster? http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode

Do you have Sync enabled?

I have a lot of folders, at least 15, and a lot of bookmarks, more than 200 I think.
The reorder is by name. 
I have Sync enabled.

The steps are just excluding some bookmarks and then reorder.

On Nightly version looks a little better, only one folder that has a lot of bookmarks is a little slow.

May you try copying places.sqlite to a new profile and try to reorder without Sync, I'd like to figure how much difference it makes.

(you really have a small number of bookmarks and folders)

Never tested, but after the new Sync, it's not slow anymore.
