The wireframes are attached to bug 972909. The latest visual designs will be attached to bug 945866 soon. :mkelly can help integrate this work into the new application.

In meeting today we agreed:

* we'll add a text description to banner thumbnails wherever we have banner thumbnails ("my banners" section, choose category, choose banner)
* we'll mandate that every banner uploaded will include a thumbnail-sized version that we can use where thumbnails are needed. thumbnail size versions will be 125x125.
* we'll use a generic "preview not found" image for banners that don't have a thumbnail-sized version (legacy banners, for example)
* for text banners where the thumbnail would be, we'll put the first several words (overflow hidden) in a thumbnail-sized box and truncate the rest. The description would behave just like other thumbnails. This only appears on the dashboard.

Next step: Craig will mock this up for us.
