Steps to reproduce:

Replied to an email


Actual results:

Sending message box came up saying "Status: Attaching..." and just it sat there. I have not attached anything to the email either


Expected results:

The email should have been sent

Following is bugs which can be pretty easily found by pretty simple "Advanced Search bugs for 'bugs what has Attaching... in bug summary' at B.M.O".

> Bug 532395 Sending reply to (or forward inline of) existing HTML message with embed images fails with never-ending error message: "attaching..."
> Bug 817245 If Offset of replied-mail/forwarded-Inline-mail/previous-draft-mail is altered by Compact while composing mail, Send/Save can't find image data in the original mail then Tb spins with "Attaching...", when the original mail is HTML mail with embed image. 

Same problem as these bugs or bugs which is listed in dependency tree for these bugs?
If your problem is completely different problem from these already known problems, what is difference of your problem from already reported problems(some of them are reported many times, as seen in DUPS of such bugs)?

Reporter (Greg), if you don't reply to questions asked about your bug, there's not much point in filing it...

This isn't bug 432141 because the error msg is different.

This might be bug 453196 but reporter (Greg) did not mention deleting the original to which he replied before sending the reply (and I suppose such behaviour is quite rare).

This might be bug 817245 but it's hard, almost impossible for normal user to confirm such.

Bug 532395 is the cesspool for bugs exposing that error msg, so I'd suggest duping to there as this isn't going anywhere. It's pointless to keep all such bugs open while we don't fix the identified problems. After fixing identified causes like bug 817245, we can ask users on bug 532395 if they still see the problem. Most likely they won't; if they do, let's take it from there with new bugs.

That bug was kept open for duping bugs which merely says "Attachig..." happened in his environment without sufficient observation nor required data for problem analysis/bug resolving.
