Steps to reproduce:

I do not know if the bug appears in windows.

1.  Hit the send button.
2.  Immediately iconify the send window ("-", on the window)
3.  Open the window (on the lauchpad);



Actual results:

(after #3 above)
The window is all black, except for a white box in the top center of the window
(I assume it was for the message about sending the mail.)
The mail was sent (checked the sent mail folder)


Expected results:

The window should have closed and disappeared (in the launchpad or re-opened
while sending).  Had to quit Thunderbird (normal quit from T-bird menu) to get rid of the "zombie" window.

Does this happen with version 38?

No, it is not happening to me, Wayne. I tested it on latest 38.0.1 build, the one used by QA and it didn't show. It was on a OS X 10.10, and reporter could be using 10.6, as of the User Agent, although it could have been reporter from another computer, not the one showing the issue.
