Steps to reproduce:

I went to http://www.uberconference.com/ and clicked signup, and went through their sign-up form, and hit submit. 


Actual results:

The status bar announced it was contacting a *storage.google.com address (I don't remember the exact URL)

The page hanged with a spinning progress icon. Other tabs opened after the form was submitted also hung with a spinning progress icon in the top of their tab. Hitting reload in other, previously opened tabs, also hung.

Eventually the browser crashed, restarted, and loaded up the page again. The page hung in the same way, as did new windows opened.


Expected results:

Either the site should run correctly (as it did in Chrome) or Firefox should fail gracefully.

WFM on Firefox 29 with a clean profile on MacOS X 10.8.5.

No new crashes in about:crashes (I may have force-quit it).

I tried it in safe mode, and the same problem happened. CPU went up to 100%, network access stopped in all tabs.

I signed up on https://www.uberconference.com/ using the normal sign up method, facebook and linkedin and  Firefox did not hang for me. I tried using Aurora from 2014-02-26, latest Aurora, latest Nightly and Firefox 27.0.1 on two different Ubuntu 13.04 x64 machines. 

Danny can you try with a new profile as well? I used fresh new profiles for my testing.
