At startup (or when I try to connect), I get the right "manage sync" menu entries, then it falls back to "Reconnect to sync", but still proposing my account email for re-connection.
Oh, btw, just found out that https://token.services.mozilla.com/ has an expired certificate:

token.services.mozilla.com uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate expired on 28/02/2014 11:45. The current time is 28/02/2014 15:53.
(Error code: sec_error_expired_certificate)

It might explain the connection error

It works fine. I can log in without problem now.

I still have to figure out how to sync my history/bookmarks/addons from my old to my new laptop, but I guess the "new sync" is not totally finished in Nightly ;)
