The problem here is that the id single-month-view-header-format (%b/) is added to id month-view-header-format (%B %Y) which means that we don't have the ability of showing both months in a different format.

There are three ways to close this bug:

The first option is to change id month-view-header-format from %B %Y to %b %Y. This will show both months abbreviated (Ιαν/Φεβ 2015), however, in month view and in week view, the month string will also be abbreviated (Φεβ 2015) which it doesn't look good, especially in month view.

The second option is to let it as it is. User usually knows the year and can understand the both months on the header.

The third option is l10n team change ids in order to have a separate id for the case of showing both months.

If the third option is not an option, then I suggest we resolve this bug as wontfix.

PS I see there is already opened bug related to third option. bug 902572

We've stopped shipping Firefox OS for phones. Thus resolving this as WONTFIX.
