Firefox 28.07 on an android phone

While browsing on an android phone themes become distorted after some time.

Steps to replicate:
download a theme from AMO
link to theme I used,
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/k-on-swirl/

after download and install of theme browse Firefox
open a few tabs, go to a few sites

click tab button

Expected result:

Theme displays normally

Actual Result:

Theme is distorted

After some more testing, pressing the home button on android while firefos is on and then going back to Firefox reproduces bug

Update:    after pressing the home button press another app then go back to Firefox reproduces bug.

Is this reproducible on the release version of Firefox from the play store (Fx 27)?
