User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:27.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/27.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140218140359

Steps to reproduce:

Visit the following URL which contains links to several large (wide) PNG images.

http://sugiyama-www.cs.titech.ac.jp/~toby/images/

Actual results:

The larger ones are rendered as broken links.

Expected results:

Render those large PNGs please! In the attached screenshot you can see that on my Ubuntu system, the largest image on that page that firefox can render is 30000 pixels wide. You can also see that chromium renders images up to 921978 pixels wide. But for my scientific application (http://bioviz.rocq.inria.fr) we want to render images that are 10-100 times that size.
Dupe of Bug #967656. I was able to determine that someone imposed a limit of 32k in version 27.0b2 but have not been able to narrow the regression range down any further.
