I can't reproduce this issue neither with Firefox 27.0.1 nor with latest Nightly on Ubuntu 13.10 x86 with hardware acceleration on.
Reporter, please try the suggestion from comment 1.
You can also try the following :
1) try this with a clean profile: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles
2) running in Safe mode: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
Component: Untriaged → Graphics: Text
Product: Firefox → Core

It looks like for some reason the sans-serif font used in the web page is being rendered with no antialiasing (although AA is enabled for other fonts, in the browser chrome and even the monospace font used for the Github clone URL).
It's possible this might be caused by fontconfig settings on the local system, rather than an issue within Firefox itself.

The versions has been updated and think this bug is no longer a valid one. Thanks.
