Steps to Reproduce:

(1) Go to
http://www.sony.com/cgibin/search.cgi?col=sony&qs=Search%20or%20Keyword&nh=10

(2) Scroll
My memory usage also jumps from a clean 42,000K to 47,000K.
Seems to behave normally here. Linux/i386 (2001083108)
Speed ok here but memory jump from 35.2MB to 47.8MB 2001083110 MacOS8.6

Um...please don't dup all 'pages scroll slowly' bugs against one unless 
testcases you've made show that they're each the same culprit.  In this case 
they may well be dups since I think this slow-scrolling-on-some-pages is a 
recent regression, but reopening anyways until we're sure.

Also, to clarify, my memory usage jumps just upon loading this page (and it 
also jumps when loading sony.com), not necessarily when scrolling; so i'll 
split that off.
