We could eliminate the need to manually move live event recordings to Videos-Origin by adding an upload link to the Event Edit page in the Event Manager. This would eliminate the need for expert knowledge on the part of event stage managers when archiving live events, and provide much better support for streaming live events outside Mozilla venues. We should model this workflow on that for pre-recorded events after the implementation of 977935.
