Video.js is an open source player that might be a suitable replacement for JWPlayer. An open source player would give us the opportunity to explore solutions to the "can't pause and restart" problem with secured video.

The original incentive for this was to be able to run Flash-free. It turns out that Video.js uses flash for HSL live streams, so there's no win here. Moving this to P2 as there may be other advantages, and we should test.
Priority: P1 → P2
Looks like we may be able to use jwPlayer for vid.ly as well. Closing this for now.
