We saw many discrepancies between the reference workloads and real workloads, which exposed more performance bugs in the gallery, music, and SMS apps. Update the reference workloads to be more realistic and up to date. Vivien, how urgent is this? Thanks.

The urgency is not clear. To me it sounds like the current reference workload represent a particular type of user, someone that use the phone heavily everyday, with a lot of text messages, calls, and contacts. So that's the usecase we are basically optimizing for. The other usecase I would like to see is for a user that receive a few text messages per day, a few calls, and have a few contacts. That expose some issues with the headers we are using for example. About the urgency its hard to say. I would say that we need some stats about how people use the phone in the targeted countries to see what should be optimized.

So are you saying you would like smaller reference workloads, or you would like an option to spread the data over a longer time period?
