Steps to reproduce:

Singed into My Firefox account and selected All of the options under sync except passwords.
Sync started.
After using the browser for a while i have checked back the Sync Settings and i have seen that Preferences and Addons boxes in Sync Settings windows were deselected.

Note : I have not restarted browser between selecting the options from the settings panel and checking them back.



Actual results:

Preferences and Addons boxes in Sync Settings windows were automatically deselected.


Expected results:

They should have stayed the same. Or if there was a reason for them to be deselected Firefox should let me know the reason why it cant sync  them.

Do you have an Android device? Any chance you're testing account-based Sync there as well?

This is almost certainly Bug 692620.
