Bug 972728 is really a pain when using the basic compositor. I've tried to track it down, but I haven't made much progress. I think we should disable the invalidation code until this gets fixed.

I've put a comment on the other bug, hopefully that fixes it and we won't have to do this.

I'm still having a lot of problems when switching tabs in e10s. The screen often won't update properly.
