Steps to reproduce:

Cross device sync is a useful feature but not easy for users to set it up, browser login may help but not the code. And users should be prompted to do so upon browser first launch.

This bug is invalid because there is nothing actionable here aside from what is already being worked on and what has resolved in other existing and closed bugs.

Are you saying this issue has been resolved and can be tested out in Nightly for Android? If not, please provide the bug # to track.

Firefox Nightly (Fx31), Aurora (Fx30) and Beta (Fx29) all support the new Firefox Account sign-up system for using Firefox Sync. The new system uses a username and password to create and sign into Sync. It also allows you to create accounts from Desktop and Mobile devices.

This feature has not been added yet. We are planning to support this soon, once the new Firefox Account system has stabilized. We do show a banner in the application, promoting the system to new users.
