I've been putting TB tags on the incoming questions regarding T-Bird. Is there a way to automatically detect Thunderbird and add the appropriate tag/version for it like we have with every other product or is there a blocker?

Moses, what are you using those tags for? We were thinking of removing product tags altogether and just displaying the products that we are already storing information for.

I was using them to filter only the TB questions apart from the Fx questions. But I was unaware of removing product tags until now. I'm assuming you were talking about Bug 977189 when you were going to display products?

For simple filtering, use the product filter drop down in the top right of the page. Bug 977189 will add some UI that should make this more obvious, and the code changes for that are in review right now, so it should be on the site in the next day or so.

Ah, okay. I was simply trying to tag every question with Thunderbird to make it more obvious, but since there is a pr in progress and product tags are going away, I'll simply mark this bug as wontfix, perhaps?
