Steps to reproduce:
1. Add Mail Account
2. Enter self@brendanlong.com as the email address.
3. Click continue.
Actual results:
Thunderbird failed to find the settings for your email account.
Expected results:
It should have used the MX records on my domain to figure it out:
brendanlong.com MX 10 mx01.mykolab.com.
brendanlong.com MX 20 mx02.mykolab.com.
Since the MX records point to mykolab.com, Thunderbird should automatically try imap.mykolab.com and smtp.mykolab.com, which would work.
