982902 - [Buri] Scrolling contact list does not show pictures

Steps to reproduce:
1. Import contacts with pictures (60~70 of them, in this case from facebook)
2. Go to contacts
3. Scroll up & down

Expected:
Contact list displays all details while scrolling

Actual:
While scrolling, the pictures are not visible.  Pictures appear only after the scrolling stops or moves very slowly.  Possible checkerboarding issue?

As far as I know, yes.  It was implemented this way before I joined the project and I have maintained it.  Given our other scrolling issues it would seem aggressive to change it now.

That being said, you could ask Kevin if he is going to change it in his work over in bug 975680.
