Mozilla 2001090408, Linux 2.4.9 i686, XFree86 4.1.0, glibc 2.2.4 For a while now, the peremiter of the URL bar has been rendered with little visual artifacts: dots, boxes, little ruler like lines sticking up, and so on. They appear/change/disappear when the URL bar is covered by another window, and then uncovered, or when the window is resized (horizontally, vertically, and diagonaly, it always happens). It never gets bad enough that I can't clearly read the URL bar, but it is rather annoying. I'm using Ximian gtk+ 1.2.10-9 and gdk-pixbuf 0.10.1-3
reassign url bar bugs to new owner..

Joe was dying to have these bugs. Who am I to say no?

I've never seen this, but if it is happening, it is probably an ImageLib thing

I'm also experiencing these issues. Debian Woody, Kernel 2.4.14 with SGI XFS patches applied, XFree86 4.1.0.1, Mozilla M0.9.6, libc 2.2.4. Hope this helps.

I'm seeing similar weird things in WinXP with the 1.2 beta. I'm using the classis WinXP theme and the classic Moz theme. They're likely not exactly the same, but the URL bar and the tabbed browser bar don't look right after being covered and uncovered by File,Edit,View, etc. pulldowns.
Attached image URL bar artifacts.
The attachment shows the weirdness around the URL bar. You can see the outline that's typically around the back button stops after a few pixels. At the other side, the same thing happens around the print button. Then there's the weirdness under the tabbed browser tabs. I can make a screenshot that looks weirder if you don't see it. :)

This no longer seems reproducible. Please reopen if you are still seeing artifacts.
