User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/34.0.1847.60 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: 1) Start Thunderbird in offline mode ("thunderbird.exe -offline") 2) Compose a message 3) Hit "Send Later" 4) Go online (uncheck "File" -> "Offline" -> "Work Offline" 4.1) Click "Send Now" on the dialog "Unsent Messages" saying "Do you want to send your unsent messages now?" Actual results: An error window popped up saying "There was an error saving the message to Sent Items. Retry?". Retries fail and the sent message is lost. Expected results: No error window and sent message filed propoerly under "Sent Items".
A few more comments... a) Messages are actually succesfully sent to their destination. b) This is not reproducible if Thunderbird was put into Offline mode manually (i.e., started off online).
Marcin, do you still see this problem when usinig a newer version?
