The user accesses SMS App and reaches the New message screen. Afterward, the user taps the ellipsis and taps Add subject. Whether the user enters a subject, erases an entered subject or types no subject, if the user taps the ellipsis again, the user is brought back to the gray Message screen to either Add or Remove subject with a Settings button and Cancel button option. But the transition on this page is awkward, as there is significant white space shown at the bottom of the device screen before the buttons slide downward to fill the page accurately. 

Repro Steps:
1) Updated Buri to BuildID: 20140312040203
2) Tap SMS app and pencil sign for New Message
3) Tap ellipsis icon in upper right and select Add subject
4) Either enter a subject and erase, enter a subject and leave it, or enter no subject
5) Tap ellipsis 

Actual:
Screen transitions awkwardly every time. The user returns to the gray Message screen to either Add or Remove subject with a Settings button option. But the transition displays significant white space at the bottom before the buttons slide downward to fill the page accurately and cleanly. 

Expected:
Smooth transition of the Message Add subject or Remove subject screen

This issue does reproduce on the 1.3 Buri. Following Comment 0 STR's, the same awkward transition displays on the Message screen to either Add or Remove subject every time.

I didn't get any traction yet on bug 970093 so it's hard for me to give you a date. But since SMS is one of the more complicated case because of the input field at the bottom of the app it is likely that it won't happen for 1.5 :/
