User accesses FM Radio App and inserts headphones into jack on device but partially where it is not fully inserted. When temporarily holding this position of partial insertion, device turns off and goes to the Alcatel One Touch screen and locks in place indefinitely. User must remove the battery, re-insert the battery and restart the device to get back to a ready position.
Repro Steps:
1) Updated Buri to BuildID: 20140314040202
2) Tap FM Radio App
3) Insert headphones partially into jack so it appears to device that headphones are inserted
4) Fully insert the headphones then let up to allow slack where there is a minor gap from insertion and hold
Actual:
Device shuts off then comes on with the Alcatel One Touch page indefinitely. User must remove and re-insert the battery and restart device to resume normal operations.
Expected:
Device remains in a state determining if headphones are fully inserted in jack or not. No device shut off occurs.
Environmental Variables:
Device: Buri 1.4 MOZ

This issue reproduces on 1.3 Buri. Following the STR from Comment 0 the device intermittently and abruptly shuts off and resumes in a locked state at the Alcatel One Touch page. The user is required to remove and re-insert the battery and turn on the device to resume normal operations. The repro rate is similarly in the 50 percent range (5/10).
